Lewes is set to raise a glass to English Wine with WINELANDS – an exciting festival of pop-up wine events taking place from 8 – 13 June 2026. Designed to showcase the world-class quality of Sussex and Southeast England’s wines, WINELANDS brings together wine lovers, local producers, and industry experts for a week-long celebration of the region’s finest vintages.
Organised by a dedicated group of wine enthusiasts and local businesses, WINELANDS will feature a series of exclusive tastings, film screenings, supper clubs, and events, all highlighting the exceptional talent and craftsmanship behind English winemaking.

Sussex Winelands is in the process of forming an organisation to promote wine tourism across all of Sussex.
The first Sussex Winelands trail of six vineyards has been established in Rother as the Rother Valley Triangle, and other Districts are considering use of the branding for their own local wine routes.
Winelands.Lewes was formed in 2025 to promote Sussex wines specifically in Lewes during English Wine Week, and continues in 2026 to hold tastings and events in Lewes to celebrate local wines in support of the wider cause and objectives of Sussex Winelands.
